Every year, a group of very rich people gather together in order to compete against each other, congratulate each other and try to convince millions of people that they don't know that the art they made in the past year is worth checking out. Selfie Sticks - Evolutionary Apex or Narcissistic Nadir?

Writing about the "selfie sticks" which are "stealing the limelight" at #CES2015 @ANCANALERTS, writer Rob Lever refers to them as "narcissticks" suggesting a lingering societal sneer at this (generational?) trend. On the other hand: 1. everybody's doing it, 2. they allow the "selfie" to become the "groupie" 3. they increase access, mobility, agency & connectedness and 4. everybody's doing it. read more - http://j.mp/1tSB1Ba
